I offer floral design that is custom-designed based on your ideas, your personality, your event aesthetic and my design aesthetic. I create florals that are loose, relaxed, and eye-catching. Scroll down to see some projects featuring my floral design. I create bouquets, arrangements, small installments (e.g. backdrop), and also offer loose florals for you to design on your own.

Design

The florals will be designed to be completely unique to you. I will have you go through a questionnaire to get to know you so that I can have a really good feel for what will complement you and your event the best. If the florals are for a wedding, we will take both the Bride & Groom’s style preferences into account. I’ll ask things like, What’s your home décor style? What’s your fashion style? Do you like colorful things or do you prefer neutrals? What does your wedding dress look like? What will your bridal party be wearing? At the end of the day, I want you to feel like the florals are an extension of you and an expression of your personality.

Cost

The cost breakdown for florals is a bit tricky. The short version is that you set a budget and I work within that budget. We will talk about what your priorities are—lots of blooms, specific flowers, size of bouquets, etc. and work accordingly. For example, if your priority is larger arrangements, then we may opt to use fewer premium flowers to fill out the arrangements. If your priority is specific blooms or a certain look, they we may opt for smaller arrangements with more premium blooms. The minimum cost for any event is $500 (travel not included).

The Process

You reach out with your request, and I get super hyped! If I’m available, I’ll gather a bunch of details from you and I’ll put together a project quote. We will make a final plan and sign a contract, you’ll pay a deposit at the time of booking! The total amount will be due two weeks prior to the event. Up to two weeks before the event, if either of us feel that the agreed upon services need to be modified (more/less flowers), we can discuss it and change the plan if need be.

My time spent will consist of: corresponding with you and making sure we’re on the same page, research and inspiration hunting, writing a plan, sourcing items, and putting the floral plan in action. We’ll have a shared Pinterest board where we’ll keep all of our ideas. Throughout the process, I’ll check and double check that we’re on the same page. On the day of the event, I’ll be there to work with you or your event staff to make all your dreams come true. Then you get to enjoy it!
